It has taken me a few years and the end is near. That is, the end of writing culminating in

publishing. There will be promotions next and I am prone to indolence.

I say different things about my book on different days. The title and description may be confusing. It is historical fiction but the only thing fictitious are the conversations and very likely scenes with the real characters. This book began as non fiction and happily I discovered creativity and loved writing this book.

I see it as young adult literature. There are short chapters with brief visualization of each period mentioned in the front matter. Enough information to perhaps spark the interest of a middle or high schooler to pay attention in history class.

Each generation of the single family spans from 1630-1946. The patriarch in each generation is touched by the many events chapter by chapter ending with my father.

Or, I can say this book is a memoir beginning with my tenth generation ancestors and why I went looking for them. Only someone who reads this book can decide how to describe it at this point where I just hope for the best.

What is holding up the process, why I am not announcing today to "click here to order"? I do not have access to a picture of a key great grandmother that needs to go on the cover page. This cover image above will be edited. Therefore, I can't offer the book for sale until October when I will be back in my nice warm home and have access to my archives. I have been in Boston all summer. October is before Christmas.

I'm very grateful to my three followers and invite anyone reading this to subscribe and leave a yes or no "does this book sound interesting?"

Peace and joy,

S.A. Beach
